Book this skip → When a business closes, relocates or refits, waste removal needs to be fast and tidy. We collect desks, chairs, shelving, display units, shop fixtures, racking and general commercial rubbish. Most clearances involve a mix of bulky furniture and bagged waste, so we bring the right-sized skip or send a vehicle and crew depending on the volume. We cover offices, retail units, hospitality venues and light industrial premises within 30 miles of Faringdon SN7 7SS. We can work out of hours, including evenings and Saturdays, so you are not disrupting staff or customers. All waste is processed at a licensed transfer station. Furniture in reusable condition is separated for donation or resale where possible. Packaging, cardboard and clean plastics are baled and recycled rather than landfilled. IT equipment, monitors, printers and electrical items count as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and cannot go into a standard skip. We can arrange a separate WEEE collection or you can use a certified recycler directly. Confidential paper should go through a shredding service before disposal. If your unit contains fluorescent tube lighting or any pressurised canisters, let us know in advance so we handle them correctly.

Can you clear a whole office or shop in one visit?
Usually yes, depending on the size. A typical 10-desk office or small retail unit can be cleared in a single visit with a crew and a suitable vehicle or skip. For larger premises, two visits or a roll-on roll-off skip may be more practical. Give us an idea of floor area and contents when you book and we will advise you honestly on what is needed.
Do you work outside normal business hours?
Yes. We regularly carry out clearances in the evenings and on Saturdays to avoid disruption to neighbouring businesses or ongoing operations. We do not charge a blanket out-of-hours premium, though weekend slots book up quickly so give us as much notice as you can.
What happens to computers, printers and other electrical equipment?
IT equipment and electrical items are classified as WEEE under UK law and cannot go into a general skip. We can arrange a separate WEEE uplift, or if you have a large volume of equipment you may prefer to use a certified WEEE recycler directly. Either way, do not mix electricals into the general waste load as it can invalidate your waste transfer note and cause compliance problems.
Will you provide a waste transfer note for our records?
Yes. Every collection comes with a waste transfer note that confirms the waste was removed by a licensed carrier and taken to a licensed facility. You are legally required to keep this for two years under the UK duty of care rules. We will hand it over on the day or send it by email, whichever suits you.
