Do I need a permit to put a skip on the road in Marlborough?
Yes. If the skip goes on a public highway, including the roads off the High Street, Wiltshire Council must issue a road licence before delivery. We handle the application, but allow at least a few extra days in the town centre where the conservation area can slow approval. If you can place the skip on your driveway or inside a gateway, no permit is needed.
Can you deliver to a village outside Marlborough town, such as Ramsbury or Aldbourne?
