Local delivery & permits in Henley-on-Thames
Henley-on-Thames sits within a conservation area, and many of its streets are too narrow or historically sensitive for roadside skips without approval. Skips placed on a public highway in RG9 require a permit from Oxfordshire County Council. Applications take a few days, so book early if you need a road placement near the town centre or along the riverside streets off Henley Bridge.
Because Henley-on-Thames is just 28 miles from our depot in Faringdon, we can usually offer within 1–2 working days delivery. We cover the whole town and the surrounding area.
A national broker adds a margin and hands your job to whoever is available. We know the parking restrictions around the Regatta course and the tight access on the older streets off the Market Place. That local knowledge avoids permit delays and dropped deliveries.
Local recycling: Waste we collect is processed responsibly, and household recyclables can also be taken to the Henley Household Waste Recycling Centre on Harpsden Road, which accepts a wide range of materials.

Skip hire Henley-on-Thames, FAQs
Can I get a skip placed near the River & Rowing Museum or on the streets close to Henley Bridge?
Streets in the town centre near Henley Bridge are often within the conservation area and subject to highway permit conditions. We apply for the Oxfordshire County Council permit on your behalf, but allow at least three to four working days before you need the skip delivered so the paperwork clears in time.
Do you deliver to the villages outside Henley such as Shiplake and Nettlebed?
Yes. We cover all the surrounding villages within our 30-mile radius from Faringdon. Shiplake, Harpsden, Rotherfield Greys and Nettlebed are all on our regular route. Most properties in those villages have a driveway, which avoids the need for a highway permit altogether.
